Monty Mullenix, Lead Pastor: I had the privilege of growing up in a Christian home and personally became a follower of Jesus as a child. I have been married for 23 years and my wife and I have three children. Since 2002 I have had the privilege of serving as pastor of Chapelwood. I love being not only a part of the Chapelwood family but able to provide leadership as well.

Eric Thacker, Associate Pastor: I have been on staff at Chapelwood for three years. I've been married two years to a wonderful woman God has blessed me with. Currently, I'm a student Southern Seminary. I'm also a substitute teacher for Wayne Township schools. [EMAIL Pastor Eric]

 

 

 

Michelle Mullenix, PowerUp Ministry Director: I am the director of our PowerUp Ministry, which includes all children & preschoolers, ages birth through 6th grade. I personally did not grow up in a christian home or attend church as a child. So, I love being able to guide children as they come to know Christ and learn to serve Him as they grow. I also believe that the church should serve as the greatest resource for parents as they are the spiritual leaders in the home!

 

I accepted Christ at 18 and felt God leading me into full-time Christian service. God led me to serve Him as a pastor's wife. I have been married for 23 years and have 3 great children. I love serving at Chapelwood where we have been for 8 years. [EMAIL Michelle]

Diane Oliver, Church Secretary:I have been the secretary of Chapelwood Baptist Church for a little over five years.  God has blessed me and my husband, with two wonderful girls, ages 16 and 10.  Working as the secretary at Chapelwood is very rewarding.  My job allows me to have plenty of time for my family, church and friends.  The thing I enjoy most about my job is the people.  Everyone is kind, courteous and helpful.  Pastor Monty & Pastor Joel are wonderful to work with everyday.  God has truly blessed me with this job. [EMAIL Diane]
