~ ALIVE COLLEGE MINISTRY ~
In Alive, we desire to connect college students and young adults to Christ and each other through worshiping God, growing people, caring for others and sharing Christ. Some of the activities used to accomplish this include Bible studies with practical life application that meet throughout the week, Wednesday night worship, and community service.
Every weekday we are out on our campuses and in our communities encountering our culture. We regularly talk with our fellow classmates and friends about the relationship we have in Jesus Christ; how that relationship helps us each and every day through any situation in life. You don’t have to be a college student to be a part of Alive’s efforts to impact the communities in which we live. Young adults from all walks of life have enjoyed being a part of Alive.
Here is what some of our group has said about Alive:
“The very first time I went to Alive! I felt welcome. Through the relationships formed at Alive! my faith started to grow. I started to grow the confidence to share my faith with more and more people. Alive! has challenged me to serve Christ on my campus, in my church and in my life every day. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the strong connections that I have with the people at Alive!. “ – Heather ‘10
“Alive! at IUPUI was a lifesaver! I would say ‘the 2007-2008 school year’ was one of the darkest times in my life. My friends at Alive! never left me and supported me through my struggles. Alive! was a springboard to getting outside of the classroom and making a difference. “ – Michael ‘10
I don’t think I could’ve ever anticipated the impact that being a part of this group has had on my life. Alive! gave me purpose and helped me strengthen my relationship with God. Alive! also gave me courage and strength to go out and share this amazing faith.” – Emily ’09
